WTB: Blue seat

Looking for a nice blue bench seat for a 1970 I am putting together. Not picky on the material, just putting a truck together I will be selling later. It can even be a seat from a never truck.
:) Thanks!!

I have one. Its in idaho.... could possibly make it to salt lake for delivery. JT

Joesjunk 07-25-2004 01:53 PM

Idaho might be a bit too far.....unless it could be shipped??? :)

Thanks!!

I have a blue bench from my 72. Needs recovered but foam is very good.

Joe, I have a 72 coming in probably 3-4 weeks, he told me the seat was good, the truck is blue so the seat may be too. You going to the swap meet the 14th at the woodlands? I'm taking down a couple trailer loads, I got some longhorn bedsides too!!!

Joe/ Randy, I have a very nice Blue seat in my 72. Recently recovered and looks very nice. Problem is that I have the Houndstooth cover and hate to tear this one apart to recover it. I would be willing to make some kind of deal where I can end up with a good frame and foam so that I could do my seat and swap this one.
Any ideas?

Joesjunk 07-26-2004 01:38 AM

Randy, I really wanted to go to the swap meet, but I am going on a float trip that weekend!!! Let me know when you get the seat, if I haven't found one by them I will look at it. Good luck at the swap meet!!

Kevin, Let me know what you are going to do with your seat. If you want shoot me a price with or with out the seat tracks??? I don't have a good core seat to recover either.

1972ChevyGuy, thanks for the offer, but I was hoping to find one already done.

nu2-72 07-27-2004 09:33 PM

Joe, I cannot sell my seat without a replacement. This seat is very nice. I do not want to take the cover off and waste it but need an equal seat for my cover. I will look around for a good core.
The cost of foam would make it worth wasting this one though. I will see what Randy has as well.

Randy, any excellent cores? Any color will do even if ripped. Just need the frame and foam.

Kevin, I may have one good seat out there in a truck, I'll look in the next couple days. I heard there is some good rumors about me up your way. Something about our buddy the crook and me getting into it!!! Just rumors but wish it were true. ;)

stelth2002 07-28-2004 12:00 AM

Kevin? I think that shipping would be pretty expensive, i think randy could help a little better than me this time. JT

teeitup 07-28-2004 06:27 AM

NU2-72 name is Kevin ;)

nu2-72 07-28-2004 07:53 PM

Have not heard the rumors. Guess I am working to much.

Nu2
If you think you will have room to get it back home on your next trip down south, I can see what I can find in this area.

nu2-72 07-29-2004 04:44 PM

Shan, I am flying this trip.
I do have folks coming this way later in the year. Maybe we could find something.
This is strictly a pleasure trip. But so was the last one right?
No riding this time. Just food and fun. Maybe we can meet some more Alabama members.

Not sure about the pleasure of pulling and pushing a 4 wheeler up the side of a mountain.
When you get some time frames of when you will be down let me know, and I'll mark my calendar.
Shan...
