68-72 Long Fleetside Bed For Sale

I am selling the original 8' bed from my 72 GMC. It does have some rust, (not real bad) but would be good for someone to either fix or use just for a hauler. I just bought a verry nice one to replace it. I would take $50.00 for it. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

GMC69 07-28-2004 12:58 AM

Try looking for anything good up here in Ontario Canada, that they don't wan't your arm, leg, and first born for.

Classic Heartbeat 07-28-2004 01:00 AM

What do you need a flat bed for? Stand it up on it's nose and use load locks behind it.... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
vtblazer, did you forget to leave the light on? I looked for your place, but it was too dark to see... LOL Seriously I wish that I could get it to you guys cheap.. I would rather see it get used than to scrap it. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Cethern 07-28-2004 01:03 AM

Now that an Idea Wes... lol
Can you just hear the Consignee when they open the doors to the reffer and see a frozen truck bed? haha

3rdGenrationChevyman 07-28-2004 01:10 AM

Wow, I really need a bed. Ill take it! how much for shipping to Albuquerque? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I cant find one here for less than 500-600

GMC69 07-28-2004 01:13 AM

200???? damn must be nice. They want an easy 1,000$ for an OK one around here. Looks like I am gonna need a new cab and that is about 1,500$ for a decent one that still needs work, go figure.

3rdGenrationChevyman 07-28-2004 01:18 AM

I mistyped that... 2 instead of 5. :D

Classic Heartbeat 07-29-2004 11:21 AM

Cethern, Just tell them someone needed it on ice...LOL 3rdGenrationChevyman, I think that it would be more than the bed is worth. I will check on it if you are seriouse though. WES

Hey Wes, how hard is it to make a trailer out of this? I have been looking for our era trailer and I really can't find them around here but it I do find one they are usually 800 plus.

Classic Heartbeat 07-29-2004 04:47 PM

I think that it is pretty easy. You just need to have a frame that you can cut to do it. Hey, I have one of those here too!! LOL 71 3/4 ton with leaf springs!! WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
