4speed manual - Overdrive!
Back in '84, I ordered a C10 with a V8 and a four speed manual that had an overdrive 4th gear. Long story made short, but that tranny was the only thing that worked well in that truck (I think it was assembled early on Monday! :o ).
Does anyone have one of these, or know where there might be one? Pretty sure it was a Saginaw. Thanks...SSOW :bowtie: |
that would be the NP-A833. hard to find, but I thought I'd make it easier for others if they knew what it was. ttt for you

Thanks, 1969 GMC,
Should have known one of the regular gang would have the answer. So it's a New Process, not a Saginaw. I've slept since then... Any idea how the length might compare to the Saginaw 3 spd? SSOW :bowtie: |
Np A833
How does the shifter mount ? Internal rail or side mount with external rail ?

I believe it's a side mount, based on the location of the floor shifter. Had a beefy chrome shift lever, too. Really sweet factory setup.
