My Brake Conversion
 

I just purchased 76 disc brakes to put on my new drop spindles. I need to know if you guys think its absolutly necessary to use the dust shield with the brakes. I was going to buy it with the brakes at the junkyard but they were asking kind of a lot and i thought maybe i could do without them. Is there any important purpose they have. Also where is the best place to get brake lines as i need to route all new ones from my new master cylinder to my proportioning vavle and to my brakes. Any suggestions

NOT ONLY DO THEY...keep dirt off but if cold water splash's on the rotor's when they are hot....they may warp...... :eek:

You can buy the brake tube at just about any local auto parts store(o'reilly, auto zone), most have loaner tools available too (bender, flaring tool). I would say get the dust covers, cheap insurance IMO.
