classic auto air??????????

hey all,
today while walking around a little auto show in my home town i stumbled into a 68 with a strange heat/ac set up. upon asking the owner's father about it he didin't have a whole lot of info for me but he did refer me to this site: www.classicautoair.com

have you heard of this conversion? do you have it in your truck and if so what's your opinion on it?

i look forward to your comments and info thanks,

I purchased a kit made by T.B.I. (Terry Brown Industries) for my 68 GMC from Memory Lane Motors in Fenelon Falls, ON Canada. The kit is quite complete and user friendly, plus it incorporates a new heater.

For completeness sake, I would also check out Old Air and Vintage air units. Alot of people on the board have these units and love them. I love my Vintage air!

thanks i'll check them out. it's kinda strange to be honest but you will likely get a kick out of it. i'm actuly not looking for AC in my truck but rather a smoother flater firewall. i'm hoping that these ac set up's will give me ideas on how to bring the blower motor and heater core inside the cab while still providing ample leg clearance and a custom look.
pictures are worth a thousand words so i will look these other companys up. however if you have any pictures to share it would be most appreciated.
thanks,

We have had Classic install 9 units in customers trucks and in my humble opinion they are a lot better kit than the others like Vintage and Old air, They get colder quicker and are much quieter running plus their service department and tech is hands down the best i have dealt with in years.
