What power brake booster/master cylinder should I go with?

Well, I am on round two of my truck. Restoration/rebuild was finished in 2000, have shown it since then, but haven't driven it much. Now I am wanting to drive it more, so I am doing some of the things I didn't do before now.

One thing I wanted to do was get the firewall cleaned up a little bit. So I am needing to get my factory power brake booster replaced. It is really not a pretty site. You can pretty much see it in this picture.

What I need to know is really just one thing. Which one looks the best. And by looks the best - I pretty much mean - the least cumbersome. I think a lot of the aftermarket ones tend to stick out quite a bit - even though the booster is smaller in diameter.

I am basically looking at three different ones.
This one from Master Power Brakes.
This one (original style) from TuffStuff.
and
This one from Tuff Stuff (7" Dual Diaphram).

So what do you guys think would be my best option - or are there any that I should consider outside of those three - I am pretty open to suggestions here. Surprisingly, I am not really totally crazy about the idea of the chrome ones, but they are at least nice looking.

Just trying to get something that will point me in one direction or another. If anyone has any experience with any of this - please chime in with what you know. Thanks!

Have you ever thought of a hydraboost system? Check this out:

I have never heard of those. And were it not for the price - I would buy one in a jiffy!
That is really just too much to spend on one at the moment...so I may wait a bit and look into that. I was kind of wanting to move on it now - but that may be worth waiting for.

I suppose I would have to go with a universal kit?

You can install your own fairly inexpensively. The General put the on a lot of trucks, I got one at pic & pull for $18.

Who is The General and how might I obtain one for $18?

The General is GM and the pic and pull is your local junk yard!

Guess who's not up with the lingo!?!?! :D
Thank you very much...I suppose I will just try and find a newer GM truck with one on it, and try to rob one.

What all will I need to get Larry?

It doesn't need to be that new of a truck, I think mine came off a late 70's 1ton. I just took the hydra booster, rod to master and linkage to the pedal. The reason I did not take the master is I intend on installing rear discs and this had a disc/drum master. Depending on condition and what you are going to do (I am also installing a later model 3½ turn lock to lock steering gear) you might grab the hoses (they won't work in your steering box just the later ones). Otherwise you will have to have hoses made with the correct fittings (some nice braided hose would look cool). You will notice that the return line from the booster goes to a fitting on the PS pump that ours do not have, not to worry just put a T in your return hose from the steering box to pump and connect it there.
