Bedliner question

Does anybody know if a 91 8ft plastic bedliner will fit an 85 model year 8'bed? I have a friend who will give it to me but I don't need any more junk laying around if it wont fit.

can't seem to find much info on these hard plastic liners now that spray on has become so popular.

Thanks-
john

It should fit if the beds are the same length but don't hold me to that :D Also a drop in plastic bedliner will rust your bed sooner or later. They trap water under them. Had one in my 86 when I bought it and it was one of the first things I removed. I plan on getting the do it yourself brush in bedliner from one of the local parts houses, much cheaper to do it yourself.

I doubt it will fit. The entire inside of the bed is different..wheel well tubs and their location, stake pocket columns, and possibly width.

If it is free, can you test fit it first before taking it?

lol bedliners, ugh. from what i hear, spray in bedliners are boo boo, just a waste of money. Not sure about drop in plastic liners, but it seems they would catch and hold so much moisture they would hurt more than help. :D
