Of course the first thing that caught my eye in the pic was the guy in the background holding a budweiser bottle. Nice engine too!! :D

Yes, it is. They are also Strokermotor.com and Dallas export. Not a very big place but were very helpuful and courteous. They have a lot of options for these motors as well. You can add just about anything you want.

Cool! Jonboy gave me the link to their site. They have the best prices I have found by far. It helps when you can go pick it up to save on shipping.

So if I wanted a long block put together will all the goodies they would do it "my way" and not use the standard GM selection? That sounds cool....

friend of mine got the same motor from autocenter and has put about 70,000 on it no leaks and still runs strong you should be really happy.

I'm running a TREMEC TKO. I also recently got new gears and posi unit for my Dana. When I get the motor broke in I'll probably bolt on the Nitto Drag Radials and see what she'll do. My cousin already wants to race and he hasn't even picked up his truck yet. He just bought a Hemi Quad Cab. His room mate just picked up a Nissan Titan and wants to race too.

A TKO? Is it in the truck yet? I really want a TKO in a bad way, but I wanna know what's involved in the swap. Any info you have that could possibly help me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

those guys are both dreaming ! You smoke em both. I drove a 1 ton with one of those motors and it ran great! It also pulled my 28 ft enclosed trailer with ease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's in the truck. I've been driving it for over a year. Honestly, my best investment. I purchased mine with the mid shift so I could run the bench seat. Don't let the dealer install the mid shift shifter, save your $75-$100 for something else. As far as the swap goes...I had to go to a 26 spline clutch disk, cut new hole for shifter, had to get a f*rd c-6 yoke for the tranny, a conversion u-joint to mate to my driveshaft, have that driveshaft shortened. No crossmember issues. I still run the straight 6 bell with crossmember under it. So the tranny is just hanging out there. Also had to purchase a speedo adapter. You may have to get a new speedo cable to reach the speedo output. If your tight on the budget, the last 2 you can hold off on as the tranny comes with a rubber plug in place of the speedo adapter. They also make an adapter for your backup lights..I just rigged mine up. I think that's it. If you have any questions just pm me and I'll try and answer best I can.
