Who makes the best polishing stuff?
for polishing things what company is the company to go with? i hear eastwood has a good kit.
|
Depends what you are polishing and if you are talking about compunds or buffers, etc. For polishe aluminum wheels I would not buy anything other than California Customs Purple polish and oxidizer. For paint its a whole different story......:)

Yep, Randy and Bill talked me into the California Customs Purple polish and it's amazing stuff!. I'll be buying more of their products.

This may sound stupid but the best polish I have ever used I got from one of those guys that sell waterless carwash stuff. It is called dri-wash guard, Premium metal polish. I have tried ALOT of other polishes for shining up chrome and stainless and this stuff is awesome. I bought some 50's type bar stools with chrome bases, they were all covered in surface rust and looked awfull, I thought I was going to have to get them rechromed. I put this polish on them and the chrome looks like new.

i mean polishing stuff like billet dash inserts, or billet pulleys, etc.

Next door neighbor likes to work on old european cars. Buys Eastwood stuff by the case. It does a good job but it's high in price.
