Bedsides question?

Are the 8ft fleetside bedsides off a box with wood bed, the same as bedsides off a steel bed?

Yes just the bedsides are the same.

Yes. The biggest difference between wood and steel floors is the lip on the front panel sets lower (about ~3/4") on a wood floor bed to accomidate the thick wood. The bed sides are the same for either.
