Hey guys I'm selling my 78 C-20 3/4 ton pickup. I've lowered the price. It is in really solid shape for a 26 year old truck. It has a new marshall 350 engine in it with 25,000 miles on it. I also has a rebuilt carb with about 300 miles on it. It has the 14 bolt rear end with posi and eight lugs. It is pretty rust free for a nebraska truck and is very soild. I brought some of the finsh back with some nufinish and a little elbow grease. It does has 2 problems. The first one is the bad one is the breaks are very spongy and need some work. Second is the tranny when you put it into reverse it jerks really hard when it engages. That is something a shift kit could fix I think. She does have new floor pans too. It doesn't have a radio because I had my system in there before then I took it out to sell it. I'm asking $900.

Nice looking truck! If you were in Alberta, I'd snap it up in an instant!

PS -- get that truck a new air cleaner, that thing's foam absorbs gas, and all it takes is a single backfire through the carb and you've got a fireball on your hands...

kballan 10-21-2004 02:22 AM

I found that out the hard way too Russell! Lotsa melted foam bits in there! Lol

yes,,my question too...is floor's,rocker's etc solid??? ty

76cheyenne 10-25-2004 10:05 PM

The rocker panels are ok, they still are soild not that horrible but they need replaced The floor pans where replaced by the p.o. The cab mounts seem pretty good. Refresh my memory what is a box rail? The cab corners are good but they should be stripped down b/c there might be rust under there but they arn't bubbling up or anything.

JDL 10-26-2004 07:29 AM

suport rails under the box

76cheyenne 10-26-2004 05:16 PM

I just checked and they seem to be in good condition.
