Clean truck, wish you were closer I'd make an offer. Shipping would be bad.

88Jimmy4x4 10-25-2004 02:11 PM

Thanks, Im hoping someone on here will buy it so I know it will be taken care of. Its not a fancy truck but its very dependable and all the expensize big items have been replaced or rebuilt, plus Im very flexible on the price.

CHEVYE 10-27-2004 04:03 PM

not a fancy truck  i wish i could sell mine and get yours, i`d even trade you it, my trailer, and my blazer for it. that is a heck of a nice truck there.

88Jimmy4x4 10-28-2004 04:05 PM

Thanks, I really hate to sell it, but Im ready to do another project so I need to sell this one.

I dunno, I really wanna build another 4x4 (73-87) and I dont have the $$ to own/have both so I thought I would sell it. Its a good truck, I have driven it to dallas and father cities and never had 1 single problem, its very dependable. I drove to work (100 miles round trip) for 6 months, but since I bought a Burb I have been driving it instead so the 85 just sits in the garage. I only drive the 85 to shows and maybe to work once a month (if its not raining). I will drive it to Bryan on the 20th....maybe put a for sale sign in the window to advertise, maybe someone up there will like it who has a little money to spare :p

No wonder, I imed you like 5 times. If you are ONLY looking at 4x4s then I guess I won't offer, but I had/have an 82 that's fully shaved with a 350 and cam and headers and exhaust with a few other minor things, haven't really torn into the engine to fully check it out, but it needs the interior to be gutted for show and paint if it was gonna be a show truck, I just don't have the time to do what I want to do with it and if you were interested I had a decent amount of cash money to put with it for your's. It's not perfect and needs work, but the amount of cash I'd supply would easily get the interior done and floorpan work(sadly there is rust on the passenger side and I don't have a welder or I would fix it.) But the cash would do whatever you wanted to the interior, tint, engine modding if you wanted to, or money towards paint if you didn't have a paint hookup. I've put about 500 into it since I bought it awhile back, new front and rear glass, shocks all the way around, brake job, some electrical work, and other little things.

Pics sent, pm me with about how much cash you would want with it, I was gonna sell mine for around 3-3500 because of the body work and engine/trans. I'm not looking to lowball you here and have a pretty good number in mind, just depends on what you think.

bigarmzz 11-02-2004 04:24 PM

Because of how big the scene is in Texas. Lots of shows through out the year and these year trucks run rampid here. I'm in Texas and am still 6-7 hours from the truck.

88Jimmy4x4 11-03-2004 09:58 AM

I can go down to $5000 if I put the stock 15x8 ralley wheels with 255/70/15 tires. That may help some and actually it gives it more of an old-school look, plus the silver ralleys look good with the silver paint........just an option

383drvr 11-05-2004 10:22 PM

Damn. I'm going to be in the market in 5 months. I wish I was in the market NOW. Two great trucks in my area and I have no cash. Oh well...

Gotta give props, thats a well done truck for the price, you'll get a taker soon I'm sure. :)

88Jimmy4x4 11-05-2004 10:45 PM

Thanks, Im really in no hurry to sell it so keep saving those nickles, in fact I just ordered a brand new dash pad for it today....there goes another $200+ :p

Im gonna be in Hearne, Tx Nov20 for a toys for tots truck show at the local HS with low84 and others from fullsizechevy.com so if anyone wants to see it come on out

88Jimmy4x4 11-11-2004 08:49 AM

No one in Texas wants it because everyone already has one. Look around, 3/4 of the nice trucks for sale on here are from Texas, all anyone here would be doing would be buying that truck and it'd be their's in a different color LOL. It's a nice truck, but he is in houston, and that's far away from everyone else in Texas too. It's almost like being in West Texas and trying to sell a truck.

I dunno how to take your comment, but I dont appreciate it. Houston has over 3 million people and I havent even advertised in autotrader or anywhere else but here. Please refrain from posting in my for sale thread unless your making a CASH offer
