Me too!

What did you decide to do about the wheels? Trade 'em or sell them to me?

Still waiting to hear back from one person about a trade.

Don........

REB, hello from Olive Branch! That's just up the road from you. Just to let you know, the factory stopped making factory tachs in the early 80's. They are hard to find, and expensive! The last ones on Ebay, went for $350 and more!! :banghead: I know where there is an 80 with the factory tach, but trying to decide to buy it. The windsheild has been removed and it's out in the weather (been there at least 2 years I know of :whine: ). The junkyard is not that far away, so I'll tell you where it is, when I decide about the tach. My suggestion is start saving some money, do your research about plug and play models, and keep surfing here and Ebay. Later..... David :burnout:

Hey David Can you check on that tach for me? It's going in an 80 model and from what I understand you have to match correct circuit boards with certain groups of years or you will have major problems.

Reb,
I purchased three complete '81 instrument clusters with factory tachs this afternoon. If you're not in a big hurry I'll have one or two for sale in the few weeks. I'll make sure they work and give them a good cleaning, then they'll be up for grabs. Let me know if your're interested.

Mr. Pumpkin, I would be interested in a tach cluster if the price is right. I'm willing to pay good for good stuff, I don't like paying for junk! Put me down to contact. Rich-white, if I get one from pumpkin, I will check on the cost of that 80, and pull it if you want it. Reb, are you needing other parts? I have some stuff left over from my body swap, or I could meet you near the junkyard and show you around. You won't find it unless you know where it is and who to talk too. Also reb, check out www.73-87.com about the tach issues. Later, David :burnout:
