Apparantly, Matt buys his chain at Harbor Freight or someplace....eh....thrifty.

This happened while I was winching it onto the trailer.

He said this isn't the first time this chain has broken

My trailer is refusing to speak to me anymore.

That dually is heavy.

I'm going to build a flatbed for my welder and torch and fabrication tools so I don't have to use my new diesel truck to work out of.

Kind of like this one...

In my neighborhood, everything is laid back......

Seriously though, it's my camera skills that caused the problem. The house is straight up and down. I tilted the camera to make the truck level in the picture. It's on a steep downhill.

Castiron, do you have a better side picture?

Also, details about you wheels and center caps? They look late model....

That some skill, so the tree was planted with a lean eh, your nieghborhood pretty gangster. :D

Tx Firefighter 11-03-2004 11:36 PM

Oh for gods sake,,,you've got me wondering now.

I'm going to outside and shine a flashlight at the neighbor's house to see for myself if it's straight up and down.

I wanted to get to meet the local police anyhow..right?

hey Tx firefighter, so i guess i can join the cummins club. It looks like yours is a 2wd? I finally found a really nice 12 vavle. :))) Yours is a stick isnt it?

Tx Firefighter 11-04-2004 08:09 AM

CG, that's seriously funny photoshop. Too bad you didn't shorten the wheelbase and add some chrome wheels to the dually.

Stelth, I have 2 Cummins trucks. Both HO engines with 6 speeds. I can't get enough of them.

Canadian694x4 11-04-2004 12:44 PM

Nice addition Tx!

dubie 11-04-2004 12:56 PM

your leaning house is because of the wide angle lens on the camera. If you used a digital you must have had it as wide as it will go. Images tend to do that when you squeeze so much into them. It's called Fisheye, but not like the kind you get in paint. The tree is strait cause it is in the center of the picture.

You're right. It is a digital and it was fully zoomed out. I was standing in the street and had to zoom it out or else I'd have had to stand in the middle of my neighbor's yard across the street to get the whole thing in the picture.

Big Hips

I am glad to see another dually project on the go. I have made my '68 LWB into a dually pickup and am loving the progress so far. My fiance on the other hand does not like it now as it has "CHILD BEARING HIPS". She is getting over it though. Keep us posted with the progress pictures.
