I need a new hinge for my console
lid. Anyone know where they might
be found? :confused:

I have never seen an aftermarket hinge for these. I do happen to have an extra top with hinge. The hinge is near perfect, no rust, only a couple minor scratches from use. I would like $20 plus shipping for both. The top is red but could be easily re-painted to match what your console color is or just use the hinge. Let me know if your interested.

Hardware stores have hinge stock I am sure you could cut down to the proper length.

Yes, but I want to keep it as original as possiable.

Is someone interested in the top only?

Yes, I could use the lid.

You can buy piano hinges that have no holes so you can match the location and cut to length you need. Check a marine supply catolog, you can get them in brass,stainless and aluminum.
