From old yuck...to nice n new!!!
Worked on my tie rods, idler arm and the big bar inbetween. This part was nasty dirty in a big way. Snapped a pic before and then after. The other tie rod is hanging in the garage drying that's why it's not in the painted pic....oh and that's my favorite beer that fuels my crazy brain while this project continues, lol!!! Quick spray with oven cleaner, wash/rinse it with hot water, buff with wire wheel, paint it,,,,that's what I done...oh an a few beers too!!! Hope I'm not posting too many pics...just thought you guys might like to see the progress.
Oh, tie rods, sleeves and idler arm are new Moog parts. It's not put back together backwards....the picture was taken from the other side after it was painted, |
Looking good Alex. Not bad beer either..

Lookin good. Thats gonna be one sharp front end when you're done.
The only good beer starts with Bud and ends with weiser. ;) |
same here tug---bud or nothing
ill probs catch flack from other canadians on here but im all about the bud |
you from texas too???

paint looks good. As for the inspiration, I've found a little bud helps get over the rough spots, but it's not the brand of beer I drink. Molson Pilsner all the way
