HO 3/4 ton pinion bearings

Which bearings does the 69 HO have for it's pinion shaft?? My 66 Motors manual shows Ball in all of the 3/4 1 1/2 and 2 ton axles. The 2 1/2 ton shows timkens.. And what about the 72 that I just picked up with4.10:1 ratio with the ring gear snubber.
Sure seems to be a lot of differences across the board with these rear axle 3rd members..
I had a real search going to replace a 4.56 for the rear of my K-20 and all I ran into was dead ends and Junk 3rd members for around 150 to 175 dollars. I ended up finding ( real luck ) a very nice 4.10 in a 72 truck and I got the axle complete for 200.00 dollars!! Very pleased......
However I now have to change the front axle ring and pinion, but I will feel better in the long run since it also is rather loose.

:) For future references for this site::: the bearings I found in my 3rd member with 4.57 gear ratio ( 32 and 7 realy thick and heavy gears!!) were timkens. The front ratio tag on this truck is 4.56 so that would most likely ( since I haven't opened it up yet), the gear tooth count will be 41 and 9.

wait, is the gear tooth count 32 ring and 7 pinion or 41 and 9?
EDIT: D'oh, just re-read your post. The Eaton is 32/7, dana 44 is 41/9.

The 5.14 I just got has 7/36 stamped into the housing, which = 5.14
I haven't inspected my other H052 in a while, it supposedly has 4.57's.
Sorry if I dont have any answers for you, I am building mine right now as well, and learning along the way. Good luck
