atleast i'm getting something done
for the past couple nights, i've been cleaning up all the engine wiring. adding lots of split loom to it. looks much much better now. i also regrounded my tach at a different location. it used to be ran to the same ground as the wiper motor, and would bounce around very fast when the wipers were on full blast. now its grounded to a screw in the firewall and works much much better :)
here are some pictures of my old and new rearview mirrors :metal: http://members.cox.net/ocbaud/oldmirror.JPG http://members.cox.net/ocbaud/billetmirror1.JPG http://members.cox.net/ocbaud/billetmirror2.JPG http://members.cox.net/ocbaud/billetmirror3.JPG |
I think that the new mirror is awesome!!!
|
What is that above the mirror? Radio antennae?
|
That looks good mounted. Did you polish and wax it before you installed it?
|
no, it came nice and clean like that.
the thing about the mirror is the reciever for my alarm :) |
I thought it was an antenna too.
I figured you replaced your windsheild with plain glass (no antenna). |
since your talking about antennas, does it normally cost more to have an embedded antenna windshield replaced as opposed to one with no antenna?
|
It is more but not much at all.
|
i think mine was about $15.00 more.
