SWB frame - 3.73 Posi rear - cab for sale

Hey Gang,

Got the "friendly" letter from the City yesterday ... I gotta get rid of my "parts truck." Seems a neighbor doesn't appreciate these old trucks as much as I do. :D

Anyhow ... this is what goes ... and must go FAST! Preferrably gone this weekend.

I am in North Alabama about 100 miles south of Nashville on I-65.

- '67 short wheel base frame and cab - no rear end. - $125

- 3.73 POSI rear (1970 6 lug) - $375

The cab has both the front and rear glass in it. NO doors & NO dash. the previous owner cut the dash out.

It will also need rockers and corners and some minor patching on the floor pans. It shouldn't require full floor pans.

I am at work and can't post pics right now and it will be sunset before getting back hom, but I will post some pics for anyone that is interested tommorow.

Shane,
If like the city here as long as it has a tag they can not say anything about it. I know I pay about $24 a year for a tag, but you could get the antique tag for the cheaper one time fee(was about $10). Antique tag has several driving restrictions, but it don't look like you have to worry about that just yet. Would get you out of trouble with the city and would give the neighbors more time to see the love.

Sorry Texas 68 ... but I am not able to ship the rear end.

Is the frame for a 4x4?

Shane 11-25-2004 11:59 AM

Texas 68 - If I were not in such a hurry to get rid of all of the stuff, I would be glad to ship you just the center section.

Bleach - negative.

Here are a few pics. I have higher resolution pics that I can email, but had to shrink these to fit the board rules.

Just so everyone knows ... If you are interested in any of this, please send me a PM and I will put you in line in the order that I recieve them.

I would prefer to sell everything as a whole. This stuff has to go! :D

Shane 11-25-2004 12:22 PM

I have had some PM's asking why the frame goes with no rear end. In the pics, the frame OBVIOUSLY has a rear end under it.

Here's the deal. :D

I purchased the Posi rear with intentions of using it and I then purchased the parts truck WITHOUT a rear end and put the POSI rear under it in order to just be able to move it around.

I am willing to sell them in one deal, but listed them seperately in case anyone was interested in just one or the other.

is there any way you could deliver to Memphis, as I have a cousin there that could hold it for me until I could pick it up.

Shane 11-26-2004 12:32 PM

OK ... someone make me an offer and come get this stuff! :D

I will help

shane if you want to keep the stuff call the local junk yard and see how much they will charge to store it for you. They usually have a wrecker and that way when you get your stuff together you'll still have your truck. :D
Just a thought. good luck either way . Tommy H about 3 hours away from you in tennessee :bowtie:

Shane 11-26-2004 01:39 PM
