I know it's not a truck, but it is a Chevy! I hate to see it go, especially with all the $$ and sweat equity I've put into it, but here it is.

West Texas Car, no rust that I can find
Setup for Big Block
Fresh Turbo 400 Transmission, Art Carr Converter
Fresh 12 bolt Posi rear end with 3.73 gears
Goodmark 2 ½” Cowl Hood (comes with original SS hood)
New Aluminum Radiator with dual electric fans
Weld Pro Star 15x8’s with 255/60’s front and 15x10’s with BFG Drag Radials rear (can swap for original Rallys if you want)
Buckets and console
Hurst ratchet shifter (comes with new original staple shifter and wiring harness)
New ACC Carpet
3” Exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers
New windshield

Extra Engine Parts that may be purchased at a discount if you buy the car: .060 over 4 bolt 454 block ready to assemble, Professionally ported 781’s with amazing flow numbers, Barry Grant 850DP Speed Demon, worked Holley 750 DP, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Moroso Deep oil Pan, Isky Z-33 Solid Cam, EDM lifters and valve springs good to .700 lift, Stewart Stage 2 Aluminum water pump, Hooker Headers, Carter 172gph Fuel Pump, all accessories with brackets including chrome alternator and power steering pump with serptine pulleys, K&N filters with custom cold air cowl induction, -8 braided fuel line with Earls filter, double roller timing chain,

Other Parts that may be purchased at a discount if you buy the car: Stock radiator, gear drive, ’71 12 bolt rear, 8.5” 10 bolt Posi, 26x8 ET Drag Slicks, misc SS emblems

Everything listed is either brand new or less than 1 year old. This is a 136 not a 138 (SS) car. I have the original owners manual and Protecto Plate if that is important to you. I believe that I’m the 3rd owner of the car. The car is very straight and rust free, but needs a good paint job. The bumpers and chrome are excellent. I’ve had the carpet out of the car and the floors look like they are brand new. Drop you short block of choice in (or buy a rotating assembly and build a 496 with the above mentioned parts like I was going to :D ) paint to your desired color and you’ve got an outstanding ride. Can email any and all pictures on request. bpursley@esc14.net

$8000 for the car
I'll come up with a "total package" price for everything listed if there is interest.

forgot to add with a mild 454 and the above mentioned parts the car ran in the 7.90's @90mph at our local 1/8th mile track. That equivilant to a low 12 second 1/4 mile. :burnout: that's with no tuning...

Here's the link to some different 1/8th mile to 1/4 mile calculators where I got my results.... 7.9's = 12.3's
http://www.tciauto.com/tech_info/calculators.htm#3
http://www.mustangworks.com/analyzer.html
http://www.velocidad-maxima.com/calcu/calcu.html

Also IMHO, 90mph is a "fast" mph for that ET, indicating that the car is really picking up on the "big" end of the track which would only lower my 1/4 mile ET....

But thank you for your "backhanded" compliment. :p

My 2002 ss ran a 7.89 stock, and ill be darned if it runs low 12's stock. I calculated it to what my car ran at the 1/4 mile, and it was faster then usual but it was usually low 8s! i still have the time slip. Still is picking up very fast. Also depends a lot on the 60 ft. my car was a 1.86 60 foor, at 86 mph 1/8th! Different cars different times!

If your car is running 7.89 in the 1/8th mile and your not in the 12's you need to check your fuel system or check your math (conversion.....)

Is this the formula you used for "calculating" your 1/8th mile time?
Formulas for Calculating Performance
Convert between 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile ET's

1/4 mile ET = 1/8 mile ET x 1.5832 (thanks to Bobby Mosher for this formula)

1/8 mile ET = 1/4 mile ET / 1.5832 (thanks to Bobby Mosher for this formula)

or, if you're like me and are to dumb or lazy, you could go to one of those 3 sites and they'll do the math for you :D

either way :burnout:
