2/4 or 4/6
 

I have a 72 chevrolet its on the photoshop page right now. I wanna drop it, but don't know how much I don't wanna scrub or anything just making the wheelwells a little fuller. So should I go with 2/4 or 4/6.

4/6 is a great drop for these trucks. I've had several with a 4/6 drop myself.

I have never lowered a 67-72 truck so I can't speak from experience on them specifically. What I can tell you is every one I know that has ever lowered their truck "just a little" later wants it lowered more.... :cool:

here's the truck I built last year.

All drop parts are Early Classic Enterprises but the front coil springs. The front springs are Summit brand springs, which are actually Ground Force springs in a plain white box. I used them because I kknow they're name brand and they are like 30 bucks a pair cheaper than most anyone else's springs.

I can't say enough good about Early Classic Enterprises. They are top notch folks with super quality products.

I really like the drop on that truck...I'm also convinced to go with the 4/6 drop for my truck.

Why do you prefer springs over bags?

Springs are cheap and reliable. You put them in and forget about them. They can't fail, leak, get punctured, or anything else. I build my stuff to drive anyplace, anytime. I drive out of state, sometimes hundreds of miles. I want something that's dead reliable and requires no special parts. I'd hate to have to find an air line fitting or something in a stange town on a weekend.

I was going to go with the airbags, simply beacuse they were going to be fairly cheap for me atleast.

There's nothing wrong with being old school, all trucks have there own personality, and you nailed it with that one.
