61-63 short stepside (Monroe WA)

I know we are supposed to put a price, but this is for a friend and he doesn't really know what he wants yet. I will edit this when he lets me know. I'm just trying to gauge interest for him.
61-63 short stepside 2wd (he didn't know off the top of his head but will look at the title when he gets home).
New front end from newer truck, not sure which year with all new suspension parts, disc brakes, 5 lug wheels.
He thinks the rear end is newer also, but was not sure - 12 bolt.
Bed looked just about perfect sheetmetal wise - no wood in bed. Told me tailgate was in same condition.
Looks like someone did alot of metal work on cab. NO GLASS!
He has enough parts to just about make a complete body. I don't know much about this vintage of trucks, but it does look like somebody put some work into this one. I think it would make a great start to a project.
I should also mention that everything was painted the green color in the pictures including dash - He is keeping all the body parts not in the picture but would probably consider giving the color matched parts for equal condition parts if someone were hooked on the color.

Haven't seen too many of the stepsides for that year range.

BTW, when I ran the pictures through photoshop to reduce their size, the paint came out looking real bad. In real life the paint is in real nice shape. The truck was a complete body, minus engine, tranny and interior. The guys that own it bought it for the front clip and doors.
If someone liked the color, they would consider trading the green painted parts for parts of equal condition. That way you would have a shell with a decent paint job on it. I don't think I was clear about that before.

its probably a 63 since it has coils up front.

The a-frame(?), suspension and disc brakes are from a later model truck. He wasn't sure what year though?
Someone mentioned that it has a wrap around windsheild so it was a '62?
Like I said, I don't know anything about this vintage of truck. :D

As soon as I saw this on his property the gears started grinding in my head:
"I could sell the 2wd K5 I already have, get rid of the deisel, ......"

I have the same model a 62 stepside. What is the price he is asking for it. I really just need the cab but if the price is good I can get the bed also.

I think that the 62 cabs mount different than the 63 cabs...It appears that this is a 63.

Wow, I haven't looked on this side for a while, good thing I did!
I'll talk to him tonight and post what he says.
So the wrap around windshield isn't indicative of a '62?
