burb drop question

im going to drop my burb 4/6. ece says i need to c notch but ive read in several places here that you dont need to. or is it only on a pickup that you dont need to notch because the burb is heavier in the rear?

I put an ECE "static" 4/6 drop under my pickup before I went with the bags ... not sure about your 'Burb, but I didn't need a C-notch.

I'd trust ECE for sure.

They're straight shooters.

I would go with the c-notch for a 6" drop.My suburban has close to a 5" drop and it will bottom out on dips.

Hang on fellas ... I wasn't suggesting to CG that he didn't need a C-notch ... I was only stating that I didn't need one on my pickup. I realize a 'Burb is heavier than a pickup, so that may be why ECE suggested it.

um ok i will c notch it then...thanks guys

i would, my burb has a bout a 6" drop in the rear and it bottoms out all the time, bad shocks prob have a little to do with it.
