sway bar differences...?

can you really tell the difference between the factory 1" bar and the ones off the newer trucks that are thicker???? it is only 1/4" or less bigger...does it make it that much better?

thanks

Rick

Adding an 1-1/16" bar with rubber bushings to my 1/2-ton made a HUGE difference. Stepping up to an 1-1/4" bar with polyurethane bushings over the winter wasn't a big enough difference that I could detect having not driven the truck for 6 months.

If you don't have one and are going to do the mod...Get a 1 1/4" bar ....bigger is better, just ask the girls, lol!!!

It's technically called an anti-sway bar.

It links the left and right suspensions together so when the truck is cornering, it won't tend to body roll as much. It distributes the corenering load across the whole front of the truck, to both sides.
