One for the frame off club.
Has anyone ever compared an1st gen frame to a second... I have a 1st gen 2wd with a body thats shot... and have access to a body off an 84...parts are alot more available for the late model .

Don`t do it ! What you have is worth some $$ even though the body is shot. The body can be fixed/replaced, no matter how bad it is.

I agree with teamharvey. 70-72 2wd's are very hard to find. Find yourself a 72 and older tub or fix the one you have. Or sell the one you have and buy a 73 and newer that is more complete.

hey mike what body parts do you need i may have what you want.

Parts are readily avaiable for the first gen trucks. Most of those parts fit the Blazers. If your thinking about putting that 84 body on the first gen frame, it's going to require more modification that it is worth. The wheel base and track widths are different, not to mention the whole shape of the frame. Besides, the 84 isn't full convertable!
