BB vs. SB mounts????
 

Hey guys, whats the diff. between BB towers/mounts and small block towers/mounts on a 67 truck? By looking I can't tell a diff. other than the size of the hole in the center. I was going to use SB towers and mounts. Will this work?

Surely someone knows the answer to this. :banghead:

The BB ones are shaped to clear exhaust manifold thay do not interchange.

I have been curious about this too, especially for a 72. So what if you run headers?? Then can you use the small block mounts??

I tried several headers and never found one that would clear a small block stand. The big block stands are cheap and make life much easier.
