68 CST SWB body 4sale (restored)
Well,I don't know if anyone is interested,but I am going to sell my truck,so I can put the money with what I already have to buy my grandparents place back from my uncle,the truck is flawless,I have everything to complete the body,all it needs is back glass and windshield,and the molding for the grill,everything else is bran new,I have all the reciepts for the truck,I want 7000.00 ,everything from the headlights to the tailgate is new,bought all NOS parts except a couple things,all the molding,all the chassis is new, about 95% of the truck is new,if anyone is serious about the truckyou can call me on my cell anytime(865)679-4962,and I will go into detail about all the things that were done to the truck,I have 100s of pictures through out the build of the truck I can email,I will post a few pictures of it here,a few things still need to be lined up,like the bed and fenders,and the hood put on,thanks to all for looking,I realize this is not allot of detail about all that is new,it would take me all day to type it,but as I said give me a call and I will over everthing.thanks again. I guess i am missing something...
are these trucks not worth anything resale? that should bring more than $7k shouldn't it????!!!! is there a bed? i didn't see one in the pictures maybe i should just part my truck out and cut my losses....cause i plan on selling it when i'm done...and it doesn't seem like i'll be able to get 10k for it...which seems pretty cheap with what people are asking for old cars these days |
It would be worth more if the motor and tranny went with the truck,all I am selling is the body and chassis,I had a guy come and look at it today, Rob Vandergriff,some of you might know him from driving a pro mod 57 chevy in the IHRA,he sais he would let me know something in the morning,if he takes it for sure,I will delete the thread,I just want to keep my options open if he backs out.

he and a friend of his are restoring cars and trucks in the city next to me,he told me he wanted to but this for his son,I guess I will know for sure tomorrow

One of my dream trucks for sure. I can assume sale is without motor, trans, tires and wheels. How about PS, rear gears, driveshaft, interior?
Body and paint had/would to be a pretty penny if bought on market. |

wow, that gmc is awesome. i want it. what size tire is on the rear?

they are 315/60/15 BF Goodrich's they fit perfect,if they were on a bigger rim than an 8 inch,I beleive they would rub.

I like it heres my project 72 gmc swb loaded 82000 original miles Im second owner 402bb th400 ac pwr brakes and steering little rust normal places rockers and rear cab. Good luck with your build up keep us posted.
