the truck was restored a year and 3 months ago, we put a new oak bed in it, there is hardly any rust on it, we replaced the window seals on the doors, we replaced the front bed panel and the tailgate the tailgate chains, we replaced the seals around doors, replaced the door handles on the outside and inside, replaced one window crank and thats about it. :metal: :metal: :metal:

I don't believe he asked for the v.i.n. number itself, he just wanted to make sure that the v.i.n. denotes a 4wd. To reword the question for Hutch, is this an original short wheel base 4wd stepside V8 truck, i.e. not a cut down longbed or converted 2wd, and does the v.i.n. plate on the cab match the frame.

Would someone tell me why disclosing VIN # on a truck they are selling is a bad thing?
On eBay they list them most of the time. What's to hide except non-originality?
Nice truck, good luck!

Deuce 01-25-2005 01:13 PM

If the VIN# was supposed to be a secret, they wouldn't put them in the windshield of vehicles.

chevguy20 01-25-2005 01:30 PM

i miss understod the question hutch was asking me then, and the pics where taken 01-07-2005 not 07-01-2005 i haven't figured out how to change it around yet
