defrost duct hoses

My nieghbor just recently bought a 67 C-10. He didnt have the ductwork hoses that go to the defroster outlets. He got new ones from LMC and the diameter is to big . Are there two different size diameters, maybe he has the wrong year.

AC and non-AC are different
I took a piece of old hose to the local auto parts store and they hooked me up
