Just a question for you guys??

I have a 85' GMC LWB, it is complete and runs. I bought it as my third project and thought about just making it a run around truck, however I am tired of messing with it. It would great for parts or if someone wanted a daily driver. I am considering just parting it out. I deal alot more with 67' - 72' Chevy parts and have no idea what this stuff is worth. What could I expect to get parting this thing out. It is above average in straightness, electric door locks and windows, dual tanks, tilt, etc.... Can someone please give me an idea? Thanks for your time and help :new:

Do you have any pics of it. and maybe some engine specs and mileage.

Here are a few pics, unsure of mileage

The truck is over at my dad's shop, so I am unsure of mileage.

based on the pics, and your description, i'd say $750 is a fair price.

that truck is pretty nice to be parting out

I hope it's worth more than $750 'cause it looks better than mine....

If it runs & drives and doesn't need any major mechanical work...I would say between $800-1000. The 73-87's just don't command the money 67-72's do...yet. :)

I appreciate the input guys

I am not sure what to do with it. I have it on my webpage forsale for either $800 or $900, and I also have an LS1 on there for about the same price. So I was close. If it was a shortbed I would probablly keep it, but I bought it for $900 to be a daily driver and I need to sell it to pay for sheet metal for my 69' One has to go and I have wanted my 69' alot longer than the 85' THANKS AGAIN!!

Have you considered E-Bay to get the highest dollar for it. You could start at $900.00 and watch it go up from there. If it's drivable, you’re bound to sell it with no sweat. Believe me, there’s people looking for these trucks, especially in TX. It looks better then mine and I paid $1000.00 for that I got. It’s the lowest end package w/ not AC.

Just search on E-Bay for this model truck and you’ll see.
