305 Heads on a #50

What Will 305 Heads do to a 350?

Will it make more power because of combustion chamber size?

Or what?

I have 305 heads on my 327. I have 11.5:1 compression. But they flow like sh!t. You would need a ton of porting work!! I am getting rid of them when I rebuild. They make it so you HAVE to run premium gas or you get pinging. Better throttle responce though, just no real HP gain. I had mine worked on a little before they were installed, and they jsut aren't that good. That's why they are cheap!

I put fresh 305 heads on a 350, all it does is choke the motor, and causes a need for a steady diet of 93 octain + 2 bottles of boost.
