Opinions wanted
Ok most of you know about the website that I take care of.(check SIG)
I was talking with the owner and he believes he has come up with a larger size rotor to work on the 14 bolts. A 13" compared to 12 1/2". Now what would also change is our kits wouldn't require a spacer between the axle flange and bracket. We are going to check on the feasability of still running a 15" wheel with this new idea. So what we have done away with will be the spacer. Thats all. No bending of the brackets. Direct bolt on.. We would still sell the older kit, but just want an idea what you guys think.. Thanks |
I guess it would depend on cost of the new rotors. 3/4 ton front rotors new are only 20ish. Are we talking in this ball park? Also to consider is most of the time the rear brakes need to have something to reduce pressure so with the 12.5" your not getting the full pressure, of course loosing the spacers would be a greater gain in leverage on the bracket. Bracket cost could be reduced that's a good thing. So much to consider. past me a PBR!
