-flexplate (for auto tranny) flywheel and clutch

This engine has never been run but has remained
covered and oiled, and it's been rotated periodically.
This engine has a compression ratio somewhere in the
vicinity of 9.5 to 1. I chose the somewhat small camshaft lift, although larger than stock, because I was going to put it in my truck. You could easily swap in another cam if you wanted to run at higher rpms.
I really need all of the money I can get out of this, so I am asking $2800(this is less than what it is worth in parts), or I would be willing to accept trades for something (doesn’t have to be car related)

also, I have the truck that the engine was supposed to go in for sale. It's a 69 3/4 ton with the granny four speed. It has no engine. Nothing is bolted to the frame, but the bed and cab are sitting on it (the front clip is in the bed). the bed is in great shape (came from south) with only a few rust spot in the tailgate and one where the single exhaust exited. The frame/suspension is fine with only some surface rust. The cab is in rough shape and would require alot of welding. The doors could be fixed with lower skins. The fenders need their corners replaced. Inner fenders, and radiator support are rough also. I will throw in a radiator that I only used in the truck for less than 500 miles, two cab corners, and two rocker panels.
for just the truck-$600
truck minus bed- free
truck plus my engine- $3000
just the bed- make an offer
Again, I may be willing to accept trades
I can provide pictures to serious inquirers.
thanks

what kind of trades are you interested in on the engine? about the only trading material i have is a 85 buick, 307, OD trans, gray interior, hit a tree so it needs a new fiberglass clip and i used the carb on my truck, or a 76 ford f-150 ranger with 390 BB and C6 trans (neither with title though)

What condition is the ford in?

I want to trade for maybe a car/truck, bike, or partial trades for tools or possibly anything of interest.
I have a 69 ford 1/2 ton and an 81 honda cb900 that I could take parts for. If anyone happened to have a built ford engine or transmission for my truck, I might trade for it.

Basically I am lookin for something that I can use or something that I can turn around and sell to get money. So if you have anything, let me know.
thanks

the ford is in pretty decent shape, the cab, front clip, and doors are almost perfect. the bed needs some work on the wheel arches, but the floor is good it has a 9" ford rear i think, and coil springs in front with the twin i-beam suspension. the windsheild is good, and so is the back except for one pane (sliding rear). the engine needs rebuilt, but i have no clue what is wrong with it. its sitting in the bed, but it IS complete from oil pan to intake, and i think it has the water pump on it even. the trans is in it with the torque converter still on it, and ive been told its a C6. it has dual tanks still installed, but one cap is locking and i dont have the key. the tank switch is still on the dash. the steering column, seat, and carpet is gone. it could easily be fixed back up if you could get a title

Blue_71- that would be too much of a project for me right now. Thanks anyway.

would you get rid of the trans serperate? if so what about shipping how much would it be to 45056 if you could? if not free up

Porkchop 02-18-2005 12:00 PM

I could get rid of the transmission seperately, but I don't know if I would want to ship it. I would want a little money for the time it would take to pull (not much since there is no engine in it) plus some money for the packaging (probably have to build a boxor pallet). I have never shipped anything this large, so I'll look into what it will take.
thanks
