That's the best help that there is!!! My son was out helping me this weekend yank the front clip off of my Blazer. Even though he's only old enough to hold screws and hand me screwdrivers and such, I loved every second of his assistance....and so did he.... :)

Lookin' good. Ahhhh, progress. How hard was it to get the bedside off. Just the bolts and the tack welds at the rear pillar? I'm thinking about pulling mine off, and the bed floor as well. I think it would be easier to do repair work to the bedfloor. Plus, I always have this suspicion that there is rust lurking between the bedside and the bed floor.

finding all the welds was my problem once all the welds were cut it just came right off. i painted the welds in orange. on the back there are four bolts and three welds. all the bolts along the bed side and in the front there were two bolts that need to be removed from the inside. two more welds up top and for the door jam i had 14 spot welds. the weld that got me was on the inside edge of the piece that goes all the way across the truck surface rust was covering the weld and i did not see it. if ya need more pics just let me know

i noticed reading through the posts people post different things they have done. i am just getting started but when i installed my 14 bolt and disc brakes i did not like the way the wanted me to run my lines. so i cut a front leaf spring shackle in half drilled it to accept the brake line curved it to the axle and bam this was what i ended up with. seems to be working so far.
