Went to the Rods and Customs show on Sunday and while there were only 2 trucks there, one of them was tennman's old truck...real nice (and the new owner made sure to show off the fuel door) It got my vote.
The other truck, I thought was a 50th but its a '67

Those are two might fine lookin trucks I must say

Jimbotronics 02-15-2005 11:10 PM

Man those rock! Is the second one a longhorn?

useRc10 02-15-2005 11:21 PM

no, its just a lwb..

Bamm 02-15-2005 11:45 PM

Those two look nice. I used to go to that show every year but the last couple of years it had sucked so bad that I didn't even bother to think about going this year. I hope the rest of the show was good. Let me know if they have any small local shows out your way, i'm only about 45 minutes away. Later, .....Jerry

i know, its been better and it cost $10 this year...

Bamm 02-16-2005 09:16 AM

Any vendors there? The last couple of years there were more "flea market" style vendors than car part vendors.....

dkooi 02-16-2005 10:45 AM

You didn't happen to get any more pics of that fuel door did you? I need to do the same thing on my fleetside and just can't quite figure it out.

danho 02-16-2005 11:06 AM

It looks like a 72 cab with a 67 front clip to me, or am I wrong? Not that it matters.
Dan.

tnblazerk5 02-16-2005 11:30 AM

at least the doors are 72 on the gold truck anyway

useRc10 02-16-2005 11:49 AM

dkooi, you can try PMing "Tennman"...that is his old truck. There is a write up of it also on Wes' site but I dont think i can post a link to it.

The gold truck has a small back window so it must just be the doors

67ChevyRedneck 02-16-2005 12:21 PM

My 67 has 72 wings and 72 scrolled door panels in/on the 67 doors. Real nice trucks. I sometimes wish my 67 was a fleetside so I could two-tone it like the second truck.

Dkooi try this link http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php3?t=77104

It's in the FAQ's board.

I didn't realize that Tennman had sold that truck. What's he driving now? Did he sell the chopper too?

useRc10 02-17-2005 01:27 AM

Randy, he sold it and bought a new truck...the guy who has the old one lives somewhere in VA, but he wasnt around to ask where

useRc10 02-17-2005 01:28 AM

i guess its basically the same but the writeup on wes' site is the one tennman did and that one is for stepsides...

useRc10 02-17-2005 01:31 AM

going for 3 in a row...Randy, i just looked through the thread that i posted and you had asked him about the chopper already...ha ha
