55 1st hood emblem and chrome grille? Where can I find them?
 

I'm buying hard to find parts as I build this long term project of mine. I haven't been able to find a hood emblem for a 55 1st or a complete chrome grille for the same truck??? Any help? :rolleyes:

The link for the grille didn't work for me? My hood emblem is there, but some idiot used sandpaper on it, so maybe I can just re-chrome it? Also, I found your site on your 54 the week before I bought my 55. Sweet truck! I was gonna ask you about some of the stuff that's on it, but I'll PM ya about it sometime.

I don't know what happened, but you were right -- that link was messed up. Try it now (above) -- I fixed it.

I don't know if you can rechrome your emblem without seeing the scratches ... ask a pro to be sure.

$1200 :hmm: Like I said this is a project, so if I don't want to go through the trouble of fixing the small dents I have in my painted grille, I guess I'll go with the sweet looking chrome one.... :bling2:
