stock springs

Is it worth reusing the stock springs (front), or are they to wornout? I only want to lower the front about 3". If I use drop spindles and original springs, will the ride be to soft? Or since I have the suspension apart, go ahead put new drop springs and spindles?

really up to you, but if you add new springs, they will sit higher and you may not get the drop that you thought you were getting....

I would get drop springs to get the desiered drop, but will the stock springs ride quaility be better, worst, or the same as new springs. I'm sure at first the ride will be stiffer with new springs but they will eventually soften up, but the original springs are already "broken in" to say. So is it worth the money to replace the springs? Is the technology in the new springs better?

When I did my drop spindles,I replaced the springs. They ride better than the stock ones.My 30 year old "broken in" springs were broken in to much.Summit drop springs are around $80
