shocks?

all my shocks are basically blown out and its time for some fresh ones. In my quest to thwert the problem on getting the rear tires to hook up i wanted to put the shocks that allow the front of the truck to rise and the rear to squat. who makes some of these for our trucks, i cant seem to find any, all i ever see are the edelbrock shocks in the catalogs.

You might try looking here to see if they have what your looking for.

I'm not sure, Edelbrock shocks for our trucks are just for 4x4s, Koni or KYB might have them.

IMO, springs are way more important in the suspension tuning process than shocks. I would replace yours with a new hydraulic shock and investigate some light duty springs from the rear. I like the Pro Comp shocks by Explorer, just get the 1000 series. I'm not sure if you could use El Camino/Chevelle springs or full size car springs. This will kill your load carrying capability however. Summit has a drag shock as well as Competition Engineering if you do decide that route.

You can get 90/10 shocks from Summit, but from what I read they are pretty scary on the street.
