trim or not?

My friend is about to put a lift kit on his truck its on a 6' lift but were thinking about puting on 8'lift with 40s super swamper boggers would we have to trim the body a little bit?

Yeah man! Take a sawzall to it! :D There is nothing wrong with a little tasteful use of a sawzall. I have trimmed mine a little, you can hardly notice. On the 77 Sub, I run 12.5x33's with NO lift  , hehe. On the 76 4x4, 12.5x38's with 6" lift. Both needed to be trimmed at the front side of the wheel opening approx. 1.5" with it blending even at the top. And just a snip off a little at the bottom of the rear of the front wheel opening, just in front the doors. In all but the worst bumps at higher speed, this will suffice. :D Have fun!
