4x4 front
 

I have a friend who wants to know what years chevy(drivers side drop) Dana 44 and dana 60 frontend came in. I need an 8 lug disk brake dana 44 or dan

dana 44 with discs was introduced in '71. In '77 GM started using the 10 bolt front, but they kept using the D44 for a couple more years, as well. '77 was also the year that the K30 was introduced , with the D60 front.

Chevy's have passenger side drop front axles...only Ford has driver side drop.

Thanks for the answer, I made a mistake with saying it was the driver's side drop.
