Anybody got a pic of some 15x10 wheels running........
255/70/15 tires? Wondering if it would look good to run 15x8's up front with the 255/70/15 and 15x10's in the rear with 255/70/15s?

255/70R15's will work on 10" wheels, but personally I like the looks of 275/60R15's on 10" wheels. They're the same height as a 235/75R15 but a little wider than the 255/70R15. But then again, I'm an oldie. Just my 2 cents.

I think if you put the same size tire on a wider rim, it will have a shorter installed height. The wider rim (rear) will be shorter than the front.

i think i'm going with dunlop's GT qualifier - 295/50/15 in the rear and 235/60/15 up front... about the same size tires...
check out this link - a great way to check tire measurements. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...omCompare1=yes |
I was thinking of a 295/50 15 vice a 275/60 15 but the 50 is an inch + shorter in diameter but is an inch wider still maybe 295/50 on back and 245/60 on front.
I'm old school also |
