Rochester 1bbl ID info?
I'm trying to find out what carb this is. On the very bottom of the bowl are these numbers:7024561.
And stamped on the side are these: 27708 I have a book that lists many, but I couldn't find these # in it. |
Anyone?

Like you I couldn't find any matches. You could try takin the number to AutoZone or another parts place and let them run it in the computers or books and see what they come up with.

Figures I got something odd-ball that no rebuild kits are availible for. I ought to just find a new one, I guess.
|
I could call a carb place in my area and see what he can dig up for you.
|
I called the carb shop out here and they dont have a kit for it but they can make a kit for it with the parts that they have in house. The down side is that will run $150-$200
Sorry I couldnt help out more. |
Thanks. Wow! It looks like plan B, then. I see a trip to the junk yard coming up.
