The longer one was 157", all those were cab-chassis duallys.

just think of it as a 3/4 ton with bigger (and much more expensive) brakes in back.
I recomend swapping out both the rear end...and updating the front end with something newer and more avalible. I spent over 250 bucks (with my discount) and didn't even replace everything. Drums are no longer avalible....wheel cylinders are like 60 bucks each...
but other than that...it's just a HD 3/4 ton.
Whats the engine/tranny combo on it? It may have the undesirable 4.56 gears.

it has a 350 w/4 barrel carb and an sm465 trans, i didnt get a good look at the rear end because i did not feel like crawling under the truck that was covered in 4ft weeds and the truck has 16.5 wheels on it.

Jake, if you don't go through on the deal, please let me know. I'm always looking for a short dually.

You know where I am at.

must be nice I just did the brakes on a 1 ton today the wheel cylinders here are $125.56 my cost, list at $187.20 if they only cost as much as those I wouldnt mind paying $60.-$70. bucks. And thats no lie I have the receipt.

Tx Firefighter 03-05-2005 07:35 AM

Andy, I imagine it's the Canadian factor as far as the price goes.
