long step cross member ?
 

I'm putting mine back together and I know where the 2" tall cross members go. 3 up front and 2 in the rear(not counting the last one that holds the sides). Anyway there's a cross member that is only 1" tall that goes in the center(front-back) over the tires, where? I have 3 sets of holes in the bed wear strips not used for the tall cross members, I'm sure it's not in the center. So is it forward or aft?

It is forward, about 2 inches in front of the shock mounts. Only one edge of the brace touches the frame.
