Anyone with 700r trans?

I have a '72 K20 with a stock front end. If I were to use a fuel injected 350 with a 700R transmission what transfer case would be best to use? Can a np205 be used with some sort of adaptors? Do I need a 241 transfercase? Thanks...John

700R4 came with NP208 which are fine as long as your not slamming them against any rocks. Yes you can put a TH350 version NP205 behind the 700 with an adaptor and a few mods. There was a post in this forum about a month ago with all the info your looking for. I think the adaptor was like $38. Maybe someone will find that info and post it for you.
