its a 2 inch cowl i believe, it is the one in the pic. the areas circled in red are braces that push on the top of the hood skin and made a small round "outy" dent on both side. I think it is caused by the new hinges and springs being much to stiff.

Can you get pics of the bumps that you are talking about?

Zumo 04-06-2005 10:50 AM

You know,I was just reading through this post and thinking and that's really a shame. You would thing the quality of the hood would be good enough to withstand this type of use. It's not like your misusing it. Oh well. I would sent a note to Goodmark, not to complain or ask for money back but to "just let them know". That's all, sorry to high jack your post.

Lost Wages, Yours is still my favorite truck with the silver, stance and cowl hood. I was going to use one on my short fleet and now you have me worried. Are you replacing it with a stronger hood in that area? I would be interested but no shipping puts me out of range.

its really dark in the asement on the sde the hood is resting, these are what i got as far as pics go. you can see a little crack in the paint, same on both sides. easy fix. not sure im going to like the stock hood on it so if this doesnt sell i might use it done the road.
