Engine Rear Seal
 
How do you change out a rear engine seal. Its a crate 350 and its a 2 piece.

If it's a new engine pull the pan, remove the rear main cap. Half the seal will be in the cap and the other half will be in the block. You can normally push the seal out from 1 side till you can get ahold of it and pull with pliers. Keep in mind NOT to scratch the crank, and that you might have to pull the engine if you booger it up and can't get it out. Make sure you have a torque wrench to lock the cap back down.
