rear slider
i can get a non-factory rear slider for a 67-72 at a junkyard for 20 bucks. it has an aluminum frame, i think all of the sliders there had aluminum frames. are they worth it? should i just go for the 100 dollar new one from lmc? any good/bad experiences? thanks, Ben

What kind of look are you going for with your truck? Is is a show piece, original custom,...... One way you could save 80 bux plus shipping
I have a newer black framed slider with a light tint in my truck that I would like to trade for an older factory type or if anyone has one in the Winnipeg area for sale.:canada: |
well
not a show truck, but too nice for a daily driver here in salty south dakota, especially at my high school, wehre nobody gives a crap, and just opens there doors rgith into it. i want it to seal good, i dont know, maybe i should just order the new rubber, and put in the 20 dollar one, if it breaks, or leaks, i will get another 20 dollar one, or buy the 80 dollar one i just found in chevy duty. do the cheaper ones from chevy duty leak? thanks, Ben
