i wouldnt put money on it being a 4 bolt main. a) you're dealing with a 30 year old truck and who knows who has been under the hood and b) there's no set "option" of a 4 bolt main, its pretty much whatever was available to be put in when the truck rolled down the line.

what engine?

I disagree with the word "ALL", especially the forged pistons. However, it could very well have a forged steel crank, if a 350. Have one on my shelf from a factory pickup. You could check the crank's casting number to narrow down it's origin, besides just looking at the casting/forging "stripe." It's late, sorry for my lack of proper terminology. Most likely a 350 will have 4 bolt mains, in a 1 ton. However, like Jeremy basically said, you really won't know unless you pull the pan. I can't comment on a big block though and you didn't specify what motor it actually was or year of truck.
