Nothing after the Cat, Ok, or Bad?

For the moment I have no exhaust from the cat back, is it bad to drive her without that? I know some back pressure is good, but will the cat give enough?

Thanks

Sterling

from what i understand (not 100% positive) it is ok to drive for short periods but not on long drives (say over 10 miles)... if you want open pipes it is better to go straight back or somewhere towards the back with a few bends to allow SOME pressure.
Now if you have it setup with higher compression and setup similar to a street rod then you can have 12" pipes off the headers and run excellent... setup stock it SHOULD have some back pressure and the cats will allow some but not enough from how i understand...

Yeah, the TBI trucks generally run like crap without some exhaust.
One of my friends cut his off right behind the cats on his 94. The thing would barely pull itself up hills. He put exhaust back on it within a week.
